PR Account Executive

The ideal candidate will bring exemplary written and verbal communication skills and not be afraid to push reporters.
We also welcome applications from current and former print or broadcast journalists looking to transition into PR.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a primary or secondary liaison for client accounts
- Craft press releases, story pitches, and general PR content
- Build and maintain extensive media contact lists and nurture media relationships
- Assist senior account managers/executives with account services, including research, writing, pitching, and coordinating interviews
- Secure positive media coverage for clients across various outlets
- Offer strategic advice to clients, proposing innovative ideas and solutions
- Manage client expectations and ensure timely delivery of services
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in PR, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- A keen interest in media relations and trend monitoring
- A basic understanding of social media and digital marketing
- The ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines
- A go-getter personality is a plus!
